PROJECT CHANGELIN
This game is an open-world RPG game made in two months for PC using Unreal Engine 4. We were a team of five Game Designers working on this remotely during the confinement period.

In this game you play a spy named Benicio. Your particularity? You are a shapeshifter, a "Changelin" as they say in Rovina, the region you find yourself in. You were hired to gather dirt on a local Baron.
To do so, you first need to understand what is currently happening in the village of Binato. After a short introduction to your informant in the evening, you find yourself in the middle of a murder investigation. Using this opportunity, you need to learn all you can about the sons of the Baron to meet with him more privately.
The game revolves around the main mechanic of shapeshifting. Whenever you learn enough about someone to make a convincing act, you can shapeshift into that person. By doing so, you also gain their physical and societal attributes.
For example, guards can enter the Barracks freely, a villager will be more open to discussion with his wife that other people of the town...

You need to solve the murder by following one of two main paths.
Main paths that are greatly facilitated if you pay attention to the village and its inhabitants, as most of them can help if you know how to listen to them.
The overall tone is made to be humorous and lighthearted, while having some interesting elements.

My role in this production was in two parts:
At first, I was working of the Quest Design and on the Narrative Design. Designing where the main paths will take you, and all the different ways to complete them, as well as secondary quests and world building elements.
Then, when the production reached its end, my priorities switched to QA testing. I thouroughly tested the game to make sure that there was as little bugs and mistakes as possible.
You can watch a compilation of moments from the game on top of this page.
